Griak Invite

Here is the info for the Griak Invite:
Location :
Les Bolstad Golf Course
Larpenteur & Cleveland St Paul
(2275 Larpenteur Ave)

Race time:
12:10: Rishi Gulati (Alumni ‘18 xc) will be racing in the men’s collegiate club race. If you want to come support.
•2:50 – Boys Maroon race. (Our race)
Transportation: 10:05 vans leave
-our vans will be transporting the top 12 runners.

*We will only be racing our top 9 runners , and there WILL NOT be a bus to transport our entire team. We would love to see you out there, however you will have to provide your own transportation if you plan to come watch the race. Thank you , and hope to see you there.

There is an Admissions fee for spectators coming to watch:
Students/ kids/ seniors : $8
Adults : $10

Foley Invite Information

This Thursday, September 26th we will be running at the Foley Falcon Invite.
•Location: Stone Creek Golf Course
13050 65th St NE
Foley, Mn
•Race times:
4:00 – Kids Run
4:35 – Jr high boys
5:20 – Varsity boys
6:10 – Jv boys
6:40 – awards ceremony

There is a new course map. I will attach it under the 2019 documents.

Progressive Workout Information

We will be running our “Progressive workout” on Monday, September 23rd.

What to expect:
Runners will leave school at 3:20 . The runners will be split into three different groups. Each group will follow a unique route. Clues will take them from one location to the next; all groups will end at the same location; where parents and family members will share a meal together.
*Please encourage your kids to bring warm clothes with; just in case. Weather may get cool.
*A senior parent will be contacting you with the final location. All are welcome and encouraged to attend the meal.
*If you want to watch your child finish the run, all groups should finish between 4:40 and 5 o’clock. So be at the final location by 4:40.

What to bring:

7th and 8th grade
(8 athletes) •Desserts and Bars
(ie) pies, ice cream bars, cookies, brownies

9th and 11th grade:
(14 athletes) •Side dishes
Cold (example) : Green salad, fruit tray, veggie tray, chips, pasta salad , etc
Hot (example): cheesy potatoes, meatballs, etc

10th and 12th grade:
(22 athletes) •Main Entree
Cold (example):sandwiches, Turkey wraps, etc

Hot(example): tat-or tot hot dish, pizza, pasta, lasagna, sloppy joes, hot dogs, etc

*This event is open to parents and family members. So I would expect between 75 and 90 people total. With that being said; you are not expected to bring enough to feed 90 people. However, please keep that in mind when you are preparing or purchasing food. We are attempting to feed 75-90 people.

Varsity runners for tomorrow :
Mitch Miller, Sam Bastien, Frankie Tomczik, Eli Ebel,
Will Medvec, Shane Corbett, Jon Zabinski.

Race time: 1 o’clock is correct
We are running class 2A tomorrow.

So be there between 10:30 and 11:00.

All other race times are as described in the previous Milaca Mega Meet post.

Milaca Mega Meet information

Milaca Mega Meet information :
•Location:
Milaca Stones Throw Golf Course
15679 Central Ave, Milaca, Mn 56353

•Bus Schedule:
Leaving: CHS at 8 am (be ten minutes early)
Returning: CHS around 4pm

*parking is a challenge; so be prepared to have to walk a ways.

•Race times:
*All runners will run in grade level (ie. 9th graders will run 9th grade race; including varsity runners). All non varsity runners above sophomore class will be in the JV race.
8th grade : 10am
7th grade: 10:30 am
9th grade: 11:00 am
10th grade: 11:30 am
Varsity: 1:00 pm
JV: 2:00 pm
Alumni/ open race: 2:40 pm

*For all of my varsity and JV runners I would encourage you to arrive 2 to 2.5 hours before your race is set to take off. I would prefer you are not there all day.

  • It’s a long day so a small pack lunch would not be a bad idea.
