Captain’s Practices Starting

Posted by Benjamin Reuter at Jun 16, 2019 10:23AM PDT ( 2 Comments )

Hello everybody, I hope you’ve had a good start to summer. We will begin captain’s practices tomorrow, June 17, at 8 in the morning in front of the North Gym. Attached below is the training plan we will be following for the first couple weeks. Please read through it as it lays out the next couple of weeks nicely. We would love to see all of you there tomorrow!
Thanks,
Ben

The Apple Duathlon is this Saturday the 25th, and Cathedral Cross Country is volunteering at the water stations and for cleanup. We will meet at Sartell Middle School at 7:45 AM, and carpool from there to the water stations. Once the race is over, we will carpool back to the middle school and start helping with cleanup. Clean up should be finished around 1:00 PM, so that’s when we can leave/be picked up. It might be smart to bring something to eat if you want to. There are a good number of runners already signup up to volunteer, but we still need more. All runners that are available are expected to volunteer. You can sign up at this link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1opKRVKDrzPvPp-p3kaz6dqqfl85xsxUri_FvLJxnXpY/edit?usp=sharing.

Again, this Saturday at the Sartell Middle School, 7:45 AM to around 1:00 PM. This is going to bring in a lot of money for the team and it would be great to see as many runners volunteering as possible.

Fundraiser Opportunities

Posted by Benjamin Reuter at Apr 3, 2019 6:10PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

Our team has an opportunity to raise money by helping at the Earth Day Run and the Apple Duathlon. For the Earth Day Run, we will be helping with the half marathon on Saturday, April 20. They need 20-25 people to help by showing up at 7 am at Selke Field and directing the runners where to go. After providing assistance, pizza from the House of Pizza is supplied. Helping at the Apple Duathlon will take place on Saturday, May 26 starting between 10:30 and 11:00 am near Sartell Middle School. Somewhere between 12 and 15 people are needed to help clean up after the event. Cleaning up usually takes 2-3 hours.

Below is a link that will bring you to a sign up sheet. Please sign up as soon as possible. We need to make sure that we have enough people to work. We really need everyone who is able to show up and help. These are great opportunities for our team and an even better way to be active in our community.

Most of you have heard about the passing of Jarret Thelen’s father. We have an opportunity to show our support tomorrow at Daniel’s Funeral home in downtown St. Cloud. The wake is from 11 am till 12. At 12 there will be a short service given by Father Doug. If you are able to come by and show your support of Jarrett and his family that would be amazing; either by stopping by the wake to show your respects, or to attend the short service at noon. Hope this finds everyone doing well.
God Bless,
Patrick Fitzgerald
